The rules of the road, in plain English

Who you are contracting with, and what these terms cover.

• CompanyStack is a brand operated by Console Labs India Pvt Ltd., a company incorporated in India with its registered office at N-10, S.F., West Patel Nagar, Delhi-110008. “We”, “us”, and “CompanyStack” in these terms mean Console Labs India Pvt Ltd.
• These terms apply to every CompanyStack platform you use, including Ledger for accounting and compliance and Vault for documents and Aadhaar eSign.
• By creating an account, accepting a quote, or using the service, you confirm you are authorised to bind the business you are signing up on behalf of.

What you stay responsible for while using the platform.

• You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for the actions of users you invite into your workspace.
• You keep ownership of the ledgers, documents, and other content you upload. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process that content to run the service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you submit for filings, and for reviewing generated outputs before they are relied on or filed.

A short list of things the platform may not be used for.

• No unlawful use, including money laundering, tax evasion, or filing knowingly false statutory returns.
• No reverse engineering, reselling, or scraping the service, and no circumventing rate limits or access controls.
• No uploading of malware, or of content you do not have the right to store and process.

How subscriptions, invoices, and taxes work.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance for the plan period shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Fees are exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes, which are added at the prevailing rate.
• Government fees, professional filing charges, per-signature eSign costs, and other third-party pass-throughs are billed separately from your subscription.

You can leave at any time — here is exactly what happens when you do.

• Cancel from billing settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your workspace stays available until then.
• Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we agree in writing that the service was not delivered.
• Statutory fees and filings already submitted on your behalf cannot be refunded once lodged with the relevant authority.
• You can export your ledgers and documents for 30 days after cancellation, after which the workspace is scheduled for deletion.

What you can expect from availability, support, and deadlines.

• We target 99.9% monthly availability for the platform, excluding maintenance announced in advance.
• Support runs on business days with a first-response target of one business day on standard plans.
• Compliance deadlines depend on you providing complete records in time. We flag missing inputs, but we are not liable for penalties caused by late or incorrect information.
